Summary: The Adventures of Portland Bill (1983– ). Portland Bill is the lighthouse keeper at Guillemot Rock, alongside his two assistants Ross and Cromarty (and his small pet dog Dogger). Guillemot Rock lies offshore of the small village of McGuillycuddy. The village is so small it only has one shop and the shopkeeper takes on multiple jobs. The lighthouse is also subject to periodic inspections by Bill's superior, Inspector Ronaldsway. The lighthouse keepers have all sorts of adventures on both land and sea in this fondly remembered British children's animated series. The series takes a slightly unusual format with two stories per episode separated by a song.
